Your calls to our MAIN office number (919-788-4444) will be answered by our answering service.  You will be prompted to leave a detailed message including your name and phone number. The answering service will then relay the information to the physician who will respond as quickly as possible. Evening and Weekend calls are for Emergency conditions only. Routine problems are handled more effectively during business hours when your medical records are easily accessible.

There is a FEE for non-urgent calls and prescription refill requests after office hours.

If your call has not been returned in 20 minutes, please call the main office number again and leave another message. If you are in labor or experiencing other emergencies, and fail to reach a physician because of technical or weather related occurrences, please go directly to Rex Hospital.
